KRCS Men's Group
The purpose of the KRCS Men's Group is to build an authentic Christian community within King's Ridge Christian School ("KRCS") by focusing on inward connections with each other and outward activities to connect with the entire KRCS community.
The group meets in person every two weeks during the school year to discuss various topics around faith and life. The goal is to give men in the KRCS community an opportunity to get to know one another, explore the Bible together, and encourage one another as we seek to follow Jesus together.
Over 100 men from all parts of the school community (dads, teachers, administrators, board members, alumni, and friends from outside KRCS) participated in an event last year. It does not matter where you are on your faith journey; this group is for you.
We have men in the group who are new in their faith and have never read the Bible, as well as men in the group who are in full-time ministry. This group is uniquely built to serve, unite, and appeal to all men in the KRCS community.
The group does not require preparation time nor active participation and merely encourages anyone to show up who wants to connect with men from the King's Ridge community.
Men can join at any time of the year and are not required to attend every event. Furthermore, the discussions are designed so anyone can pick up at any point in the year, and prior attendance at any level is not required.
In addition to our regular gatherings, from time to time, the group will bring in outside speakers for relevant topics on marriage, parenting, leadership, and exploring a deeper faith, to name a few. Lastly, there are several fun social gatherings throughout the year.
