Checklist and Deadlines

The priority deadline for a Fall 2019 completed application is February 8, 2019 for an admission decision on March 29. If your application and documentation is submitted after February 8, a decision will be made on March 29 or as soon as possible thereafter in rolling admission status.

If applying for financial aid, all financial aid paperwork must be submitted by February 20, 2019. Due to limited financial aid resources, Lower School applicants (through 4th grade) whose families are not already a member of the KRCS community can not be considered for financial assistance.

Applicants to Pre-K
  • Online application is now open to the public. There are full day and half-day Pre-K options. 
  • Upon application submittal, you will be contacted to schedule a Pre-K visit.
  • Once accepted, you will need to submit a $700 deposit and complete the enrollment contract.

Applicants to Kindergarten

  • Online application. Application is due by February 8, 2019 for first round consideration.
  • Teacher Recommendation (submitted online and accessed at the end of the application). Please wait until after January 1, 2019 to request the teacher recommendation.
  • On campus kindergarten readiness assessment. You will be contacted by the KRCS Admission Office to schedule a date starting in January 2019 once application is received.

Applicants to Grades 1-4          

  • Online application Application due by February 8, 2019 for first round consideration.
  • Official school transcript for current and previous year.
  • Teacher recommendation (submitted online and accessed at end of application.) 
  • On campus skills assessment. You will be contacted by the KRCS admission office to schedule a date starting in January 2019 once application is received.

Applicants to Grades 5-12

  • Online application Application due by February 8, 2019 for first round consideration.
  • Official school transcripts for current and previous year including any standardized testing from within the past two years.
  • Teacher recommendation from current math and English teachers, additional teacher recommendation and outside recommendation is optional. All recommendations are submitted online.
  • Testing:
    Applicants to 5th - 8th grades: Results from skills assessment completed during on campus visit (to be scheduled after transcript is received).
    Applicants to 9th - 12th grades: Results from skills assessment completed during on campus visit (to be scheduled after transcript is received) and a copy of standardized testing results from within last two years. 
    Applicants to 9th grade: Results from SSAT (schedule SSAT at www.ssat.org. School code is 4405) are preferred.
