Fine Arts Curriculum
Each student is a member of one of 6 fine art departments: Dance, Instrumental, Theatrical, TV/Film, and Visual Arts, Vocal Arts and Worship. Each department offers core courses that immerse the student in the discipline of the respective department. Faculty members assess students individually in each course each semester. In addition to their regular arts classwork, students participate in over 25 productions each year, including concerts, plays, musicals, competitions, conferences, and exhibitions. Furthermore, King’s Ridge location offers students unparalleled access to, and partnerships with renowned arts organizations and professionals.
King’s Ridge Christian School students can participate in field trips, interim trips to NYC and London and master classes from visiting artists, musicians and more. Students develop as artists beginning in Lower School through High School an appreciation to explore, prepare, imagine and create.
Professional students are supported and welcomed at King’s Ridge Christian School. Current students in the music industry as well as the TV/Film industry can customize their schedule to meet their professional career. Faculty and administration work closely with students, family and management to be sure that the full high school experience is protected and nurtured with respect to meeting the high academic rigor, offering exceptional training while taking on career demands.
