Giving Tuesday

 

Giving Tuesday began in 2012 as a grassroots effort to attract attention to charitable causes during the holiday season but has become a force for generosity. In 2023, 34 million adults in the United States supported their favorite causes on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, raising $3.1 billion.

 

In previous years, King’s Ridge Christian School has simply promoted Giving Tuesday as an opportunity for members of our community to include the school in their end-of-year giving plans. This year, we are introducing a specific initiative for Giving Tuesday - A New Digital Scoreboard and Sound System for Archer Field!

 

To enhance support for our Athletics, Christian Life, Fine Arts, Student Life, and Sponsorship programs, all funds raised on Tuesday, December 3, will go toward purchasing and installing a custom digital scoreboard and permanent sound provided by Digital Scoreboards to replace the existing equipment at Archer Field.

 

The digital scoreboard will enable us to host all-school “Movie Nights,” showcase performances by our drumline and cheerleaders, hold outdoor Chapels with high-quality sound and video, and enhance halftime features such as Jr. Tigers performances, homecoming events, and sponsorship recognition nights, just to name a few.

Every contribution counts, and your support helps us extend our reach and impact. The donation link will remain live until Friday, December 6.
