  Description: This camp is structured so that players receive sound fundamental instruction in a competitive and organized environment focusing on skill development and teamwork. Our goal is for the campers to learn how to play the game of basketball the correct way in a fun setting. Our daily routine will consist of fundamental station work (boys and girls together).

• Jr. Musical Theater Camp: Rising K - 4th Grade

  Location: KRCS Fine Arts Academy

  Description: This camp is for the aspiring Broadway star looking to have fun this summer! The week will be spent learning how to sing, dance, and act your way through a musical theatre revue. Campers will learn how to build interesting characters and perform fearlessly through theatre games and activities.   Description: Hungry? Join us for a week filled with exciting activities and yummy treats! Hands-on cooking provides children the opportunities to strengthen math and science skills, increase confidence and creativity, and build knowledge of proper health and nutrition. Students will receive a personalized apron (one size fits all) and a cookbook with all recipes.

• English Grammar & Writing Camp: Rising 5th - 6th Grade

  Description:

  As a student, do you struggle with everyday grammar practice? Are you aware of the significance of grammar in writing? Is it difficult to think of a writing topic? Are you unsure of what good writing looks like?

   

  This camp will briefly review parts of speech and sentence structure. Students will develop a deeper understanding of how their knowledge of grammar can enhance their writing. The primary objective of this workshop is to thoroughly equip students with an accessible toolbox that can be used to complete any writing assignment.

• Jr. Tiger Flag Football Camp: Rising 2nd - 5th Grade

  Description: Jr. Tigers - get a head start on the upcoming flag football season at KR with our first annual Flag Football camp. This camp will focus on the fundamentals of throwing, catching, route running, blocking, and flag pulling. The current Jr. Tiger flag football coaches will be there to assist and evaluate players for the upcoming regular season.

  Description: This camp is an opportunity for rising 5^th graders to get a jump start on the KRCS Middle School experience. Students will participate in scavenger hunts and activities to help them navigate the Middle School. We will introduce them to some math and English concepts that will help them hit the ground running. They will use this time to get set up in Schoology, decorate their locker, and have some fun while getting a sneak peek into 5^th grade.

  Description: King's Ridge Christian School cheerleading teaches young athletes essential skills to lead the crowd and support the home team. This cheer camp will ensure that each camper will learn cheers, proper hand and body movements, and jumping techniques. We will have a large focus on fun while each cheerleader learns important life skills such as team-building and leadership.
