Make a Pledge or Gift: KRCS Annual Fund

The Annual Fund enhances the KRCS experience by providing for initiatives and projects outside of what tuition covers. Gifts to this fund play a critical role in what we as a school can accomplish and are an integral component of our annual operating budget.

While the Annual Fund impacts every aspect of our students' experience on campus, the 2023-2024 campaign will primarily focus on:

Campus Safety and Security
Technology Upgrades and Hardware Refresh
Pre-K - 12th Grade Curriculum Alignment
Spiritual Formation and Faith Development

Participation in the KRCS Annual Fund is crucial in helping fund the above initiatives and is a metric by which we are judged when applying for foundation grants. This will be extremely important for future capital campaigns.

We are proud of King's Ridge Christian School's culture of philanthropy and strong community support! Please join our Board of Trustees, faculty, and staff as we work to achieve 100% participation and $525,000 raised in support of our 2023-2024 Annual Fund campaign goal.

The 2001 Society - Leadership Giving to the Annual Fund

The 2001 Society recognizes those individuals who support the KRCS Annual Fund with gifts of $2,001 and above, establishing the pace for leadership giving at the School. These gifts are vital for ensuring that KRCS continues to offer high-quality programs and life-changing opportunities for every student.

What is the Annual Fund?

The Annual Fund enhances the KRCS experience by providing for initiatives and projects outside of what tuition covers. Gifts to this fund play a critical role in what we as a school can accomplish and are an integral component of our general operating budget each year.
Why Contribute to the Annual Fund?

It takes a combination of tuition and charitable donations to provide the distinctive qualities of a KRCS education: small classes, outstanding teachers, exceptional course offerings, and Christian education in a safe, secure environment.

Most independent schools cannot charge the total cost of educating students without pricing themselves out of the market; KRCS is no different. While tuition at KRCS covers the basics, additional revenue is sought from friends, parents, grandparents, alumni, and foundations to provide the depth and breadth of our students' total experience at KRCS.
Why is Participation Crucial?

Participation signifies a high level of community commitment to our mission and strengthens our case when seeking support from foundations and corporations.

Your gift—regardless of size—is essential to ensuring that current and future students have the opportunity to receive the exceptional educational experience that KRCS has provided since 2001.
What is The 2001 Society?

The 2001 Society recognizes individuals who support the KRCS Annual Fund with $2,001 and above gifts.

What are Matching Gifts?

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions or volunteer hours their employees serve. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest.

Matching gifts are an excellent way to increase your support for KRCS. Matching gift corporations are acknowledged, and the requesting donor receives credit for the gift, which counts toward the total giving and level designation.
What is the Difference Between a Pledge and a Gift?

A pledge is a promise to make a gift at a future date. The donor can give at a later date, over a period of time, or through multiple payments. You may make an Annual Fund pledge anytime; however, this year’s KRCS Annual Fund campaign will be held from September 8 - 29, 2023. Annual Fund payments are due by May 31, 2024.
All Annual Fund gifts are considered charitable donations and are tax deductible. These gifts can be paid by cash, check, online credit card payments, or stock transfers, collected in installments or one lump sum.
Can I Donate Stock to the Annual Fund?

Yes. Donated stocks are a great way to make a gift to KRCS. Giving appreciated securities provides a tax deduction for the stock's appreciated value without incurring capital gains tax.

At the same time, since we are a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization, we don't pay income tax on the donated stocks either; it is a true win-win. The Office of Development has a Stock Transfer Instruction document at your request.
